Thriving Beyond Cancer Means Protecting Your Heart

Today we’re joining the GO RED movement in support of women’s cardiovascular health. 💃

Breast cancer facts get a lot of attention, but heart disease remains the #1 killer of women, including many breast cancer survivors.

Some cancer treatments can increase cardiovascular risk, and heart disease is a leading cause of death among long-term survivors.

Heart disease is the #1 cause of death in women. Breast cancer survivors have a 29% greater risk of heart disease in the 10-15 years after diagnosis.

National Wear Red Day is a reminder that protecting our hearts protects our future. The same habits that support cancer survivorship also support heart health. ❤️
