How to Develop Persistence and Resilience

Persistance and resilience only come from having been given the chance to work through difficult problems.
— GEVER TULLEY

Like so many families, our kids started a new school year this week… a chance to learn, explore, and figure out new things.

And that’s a good thing, even if it’s hard at times.

Persistence and resilience aren’t things that any of us are born with.

They’re built every time we face something difficult, work through it, and realize we’re capable of more than we thought.

The same is true for us as adults.

The hard things we face aren’t just obstacles. They’re opportunities to discover our strengths, and watch ourselves grow.

So don’t be afraid of the hard things.

Take a deep breath.
Tell yourself, “I’ve got this.”
And keep going. 💪
