Where Women Gather, Hope Grows
“Wherever women gather together, failure is impossible.”
I love how this quote from the 1800s still rings true today.
This week, while exploring New York's Finger Lakes region, I learned that this is where the first women's rights convention was held more than 175 years ago.
Amazing women like Susan B. Anthony gathered in Seneca Falls to fight for equality, encouraging others to find their voices and join the movement.
Today, women continue to come together for causes that matter including breast cancer awareness.
If you're navigating your own breast cancer journey, I can't say enough about the power of finding your “pink sisters.” The understanding and hope that comes from women who've walked the same path is a gift unlike any other.
Together, you'll celebrate victories, carry each other through setbacks, and remind one another that you're stronger than you feel.
I've experienced that kind of support firsthand. The pink sisters I met through a local support group helped me through the hardest days of my cancer journey, and continue to lift me up as I navigate survivorship.
When you have others in your corner offering unwavering love, encouragement, and support, failure really does feel impossible. 💗
