Grateful for the Caregivers Who Lifted Me Up

They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.
— CARL W. BUECHNER

November is National Family Caregivers Month and National Gratitude Month—two things that go hand in hand. 🫶

They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel. Carl W. Buechner

I feel like this quote sums up both of those things perfectly.

I am so grateful for all the love, help, and support I received while battling breast cancer, especially from my family. 💗

From cards and texts to meals and watching our kids, each family member did something to brighten my day and help me keep moving forward.

They made me feel hopeful, confident, reassured, and immensely loved.

This month, I’m celebrating every caregiver and every act of kindness that lifted me up when I needed it most.

The words may fade, but the feeling of being cared for will stay with me forever.
