Love Makes Bravery Possible

She believed she was loved and it made her brave.
— HOLLEY GERTH

I stumbled on this quote on a simple greeting card, but it stopped me in my tracks.

Cancer patients are often told they’re “so brave.” But what does that really mean?

Bravery isn’t about choosing life over death. It’s about showing strength and courage in the face of fear, pain, or the unknown.

She believed she was loved and it made her brave. Holley Gerth

The truth is that no one is intrinsically brave.

We draw courage from the love around us from family, friends, caregivers, and communities—our support squad that lifts us up when we can’t stand on our own.

Love really does make bravery possible. When you allow yourself to be surrounded by it, you find the strength to face anything.

Sending you love and positivity for the week ahead. 🫶
