With the end in sight, I'm not jumping up and down.

One part of cancer treatment you don't hear about is after it's done. Granted, I have six weeks of radiation coming up in September and Herceptin infusions until May. I'm not done by any means, BUT...

The Road Ahead

When a treatment ends, you're assumed to be happy and ready to move on. The fear, the worry doesn't just turn off like a light though. It will be something I carry permanently which I have to learn to live with.
