Mysteries are usually my favorite genre, but after being diagnosed with breast cancer, I found myself drawn to books that inspired me and gave me hope.

During my 14 months of active treatment, I read 15 booksโ€”a new record for me. Some helped take my mind off things, while others focused on design and leadership, and gave me a chance to keep growing professionally.
