Try This New Way to Achieve Your Goals in the New Year

The new year always brings talk of resolutions—but I like to think of them as intentions, not fixes.

The first step is to think about the things you want to try, build upon, or prioritize. Next, be specific. Lastly, make your intentions and/or goal tangible and hold yourself accountable.

A study on goal setting found that people who wrote down their goals were 42% more likely to achieve them

Research actually shows that making goals tangible matters:
People who write down their goals are 42% more likely to achieve them.

And when they shared weekly progress with a friend, success jumped to 76%.

So start with something simple and achievable, write it down, and then tell someone about it.

My intention is to prioritize my own health and wellness more, so this is the specific 2026 goal that I’m putting on a sticky note on my mirror:
“Prioritize sleep & get at least 7 hours/night.”

364 days to make progress. We’ve got this. 💪
